After instituting Preventative Detention he wasn't a breath of fresh air; he was a joke. The Obama Administration seriously believes that they can get people to believe that detainees without habeus corpus under "Preventative Detention" will somehow magically not be tortured. I don't know how right they are, but there is some truth to the idea they could/might dupe the vast majority of Americans regarding this. The level of gullibility from the American public concerning the Obama administration leaves me awestruck at times. It should be interesting to observe how Reality asserts itself after two more years of his administration in power. Of course, I will note that I can hardly blame most people for being infatuated with Obama; after 8 years of cargo hold rat shit, stale, mouldy bread tastes mighty good.
