Karhoof Posted October 23, 2009 Share Posted October 23, 2009 Even after reading NBBTL's reply, the last 40 seconds came as a surprise. Those grooves in the larger stones must be incredibly old! I'm reminded of a vid I saw years ago regarding tool use. Researchers placed a piece of apple inside an anchored lucite tube just long enough to be out of reach from either end. The monkeys used sticks to push the apples to within reach. When all possible sticks were removed (no tools), the monkeys shoved a juvenile into the tube and pulled them back out.
