mcpng
I've read the god delusion and i think dawkins is waayyyy better than either hitchens or harris in this god stuff. i was planning to read the selfish gene and blind watchmaker. but then i realized that his new book "greatest show on earth" sounds very much like blind watchmaker. is it worth it to read both or are they practically the same? which would you recommend if you've read both? Justin
I'd recommend 'The Greatest Show On Earth'. It is a much more informative book than 'The Blind Watchmaker' and it covers new developments that have come about in the 23 years since Watchmaker came out. However, as far as books on Evolution go, i'd recommend 'Why Evolution Is true' by Jerry Coyne. The best on the subject i have read.
par4dcourse
The best book on evolution I've ever found is Carl Sagan's "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors." It's pretty technical but a great read.
