Vigile
Bet you guys didn't think there were thinking people around in 1960. "Based on a real-life case in 1925, two great lawyers argue the case for and against a science teacher accused of the crime of teaching evolution." 1960 Watch Inherit the Wind http://www.letmewatchthis.com/watch-1101-Inherit-the-Wind
Animania
I remember this film. I saw it back in High School in a class designed to center around debate. This got us into the topic for debating the issue. Very interesting film, and it happened not too far from my neck of the woods unfortunately. I've been to that town and it really has nothing going for it except a little museum about the trial if memory serves me right. Interesting topic and movie, but the music in it made me want to shoot myself. Even though I was still a Christian at the time, the movie ruined the song "if it's good enough for *insert bible figure here*, then it's good enough for me". Hated that song from that moment on.
