Moxie Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I returned a lost cell phone and got to thinking that the people who thanked me probably assumed I was a christian. Then I thought, if a christian (especially fundy) had found that phone on the street, s/he would have been more likely to say, "The Lord has been looking out for me and now I have a free phone!" That person would have never seen their phone again, and the thief would still have to pay to have it reactivated when the owner has it shut off. When will christians accept that a clear conscience is not directly related to belief in a deity?
SoulofSilver Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Nowhere in the near future I reckon. Not when Atheists are the most distrusted people in the country.
