Guest riverrunner Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Perhaps some of you have seen this news article http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28029857/ns/us_news-security essentially kentucky (home of the creation 'ahem' museum) legislatures dictated that KY homeland security would acknowledge god in official state documents etc. there are four possible outcomes here. the most likely is this will get shot down by the federal courts and then at some future point a ky homeland security officer will get hurt thereby allowing the supporters to claim this was a result of the lawsuit (they play the victim card). a second possibility is that the law is shot down but not much happens in terms of security incidents so they just sweep it under the carpet or claim victory in that god saw their intent even despite the lawsuit. the other possibilities are that somehow they manage to keep some theocratic language intact and when nothing happens they claim victory again or if something does happen they can say it was watered down (victim). either way they are always claiming to be victorious now or in the long run and AT THE SAME TIME victims of those pesky 15% atheists who conspire to rip their guns and children from them and force them to worship obama or some such nonsense.
