LastKing Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 There was time when I use to like this show but since I became an Atheist I found myself really hatting it now. There alot shows that claim to "investagate the Supernataul" that I used to like but it all seems crazy to me now and seem to have the same problems as reilgion. So my qustion to all of you is Did you use to watch these shows and if so what do you think of them now? Or do you still watch them and if so why?
Overcame Faith Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 I watch such shows once in a while. I think they're fun to watch. I like to look at and assess the "evidence" they present - which is always next to nothing.
florduh Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 I've always liked that kind of crap. Still watch woo woo TV. I never thought they were documentaries, but I'm sure many people love to confirm their superstitious beliefs with these "real" examples. It's television entertainment. Truth is only available on the Internet!
pratt Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 it is a show,,,,,,, interesting show anyway to see chair move on their own, doors slamming, shadows around the corner, heat detected on infra-red, and voices recorded but not heard (sounds like on the road to domascus) and EMF machine reacting to questions........... fun show to watch,,,,,,,,,,,,,
OpheliaGinger Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Even though those shows perpetuates pseudo science, I still enjoy them--besides, some of the shows have cute guys.
SilentLoner Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 They make it seem cheesy. I used to watch "Scariest Places on Earth" or whatever it was called a few years back for kicks.
woodsmoke Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 I enjoy watching an episode of Ghost Hunters or one of those ghost story "documentaries" on Discovery channel every once in a while. As others have noted, the evidence they present is usually pretty flimsy, but they're not bad as mindless entertainment.
