Mister Pappy
I've lived this life long enough to know the sweet smell of jasmine and the beauty of snow. The warmth of a fire in bitter cold, and the sound of laughter have lifted my soul. I've sat beneath the giant oak trees. I've counted the stars. I've prayed on my knees. I'm no stranger to the gifts of God; the caress of his angels, in whose presence I'm awed. Then heaven smiled, and now I know the kisses of children, and how they glow. The best of all that life can give has been the time I've spent with them. I am a man who's growing old, but there's more to come so I've been told. Today she called me by my name. She's a new baby princess. My heart she has claimed. I'll call her name Gracie. She's a sweet little lady. She is, you see, my first grandbaby. What I would give to hold you near. To feel your heart beat against my breast. and wipe away your crocodile tears. With all my love, Pappy

Mister Pappy
Will you get to see her, or is she from your sons and secluded? I do not get to see her. I only hope she seeks out her roots when she is older.
