The Relativity Of Wrong

I came across this missive from Isaac Asimov this evening, and I thought about some of the recent topics, and some of the topics we've seen over time. Good old Asimov summed things up pretty nicely on the advances of science over time and how comfortable we can reasonably be with our current understanding of the universe. It should be required reading for YECs, biblical literalists, those who contend that there is "no evidence" for evolution, black and white thinkers, anti-intellectuals, all those who dismiss science with the claim that scientists constantly back-step and change their minds, or those who otherwise propose half-baked ideas unsupported by evidence that flies in the face of centuries of scientific advancement. Of course they would dismiss it out of hand.
