Knetti
Does anyone know of any good books about astronomy for beginners? I have a basic understanding, of course, but I'd like to go more in depth. I'm particularly interested in different galaxies, meteors, asteroids, etc. A little bit with planets too, I think. Mostly the galaxies though. And the extent of the moon's affect on Earth. Thanks!
andyjj
Can't recommend any books, but there was an interesting program here in the UK on the TV last night about the moon's effect on the earth - don't know if you'll be able to access it from the US though Do We Really Need the Moon? Knetti
Well, that link says it's not available in my area, but I don't have a TV anyway so I have to watch all my shows online. I'll look for it. Thanks! Any other shows, movies, and websites would be helpful too.
