Just because you've got parts doesn't mean you have some arbitrary right to the opposite sex. Why not take that money you were going to blow on a prostitute and get a pretty girl a dozen roses for Valentine's Day instead? If you aren't willing to put the effort into a relationship, why should a gal want anything to do with you? And...call me shallow, but if I ever dated a guy and found out he regularly visited prostitutes, I'd dump him. It just sends up major red flags that immediately make me lose all interest in a guy. Where did you learn this shit from in the first place? Women are not "things" but you objectify them. Not good, and usually the lead up to some nasty mental illnesses. I suspect though that you don't think you deserve sexual pleasure, but that sex comforts you in the midst of your hard life. Learn how to say so, and not just to sound like a demanding two year old. I used to be a prositute. It's not a nice life, populated by emotionally damaged trailer trash usually. It will always be around while men think with their dicks, but no i dont think it is okay in the sense of the way it exploits already damaged people. The OP doesn't have enough posts (as you yourself point out) to post in that other location. But you also fail to recognize that he wouldn't have even seen that the other location existed because of the lack of posts. I find it hard to see why he should be attacked for not posting in an area he wasn't able to see and didn't know existed. Considering that area was not an available option, this does seem to be the most appropriate area -- so long as he feels it is an issue relating to the ex-Christian life. None of the other ones seem to fit as well as this one. I also don't see how this poses a legal threat to anyone but I am not a lawyer and such speculation might be best left to a lawyer. As he didn't post anything directly illegal or containing instructions on how to do something illegal... I have a hard time believing that he endangered the site. WITH THAT SAID, I agree that it's a pretty sorry post. And there are certainly a myriad of other issues beside "income" which prevent the OP from developing a sexual relationship that he doesn't have to pay for. Turning to prostitution isn't going to help develop those skills that he would need to get into a real relationship. And, perhaps, that money would be better spent on therapy and lessons to help him develop those skills and comprehension. As for the morality of prostitution itself, it almost certainly is a question that has an answer of "it depends." There are so many factors that could possibly be in play that would make the act repugnant that it's hard to sit here and defend the right of a woman to sell a service that she is able to offer. I don't believe prostitution is going to be good therapy for what ails you, which seems to be sex; if sex were not an issue with you then you would not be meeting with prostitutes--you have other problems either you are unaware of or not willing to share with this forum. What will eventually happen is that you will meet the wrong prostitute that will give you HIV and if you continue to see prostitutes you will spread HIV to others. You may be using protected sex now with condoms but eventually you will not. I think you need to see a specialist, counselor, psychiatric professional of some kind. When I was single, I met lots of women and I ate out of garbage cans and off the street because I had no money after paying rent and utilities. Having sex was the least of my priorities since I needed to scavenge for food. I met a woman who was also dumpster-diving, and she had a family to feed too. Hanging around a dumpster to pick up chicks just doesn't work either. What will work is improving your self-esteem, bathe daily, leave the prostitutes alone, and dress like you want women to notice you. If you can save up for a prostitute then you can save up enough money for better clothing and improve your appearance. You are not going to find a good woman with a good mind dating prostitutes, they have only one thing on their minds. You need to change the crowd you hang with if all you can do is pick up prostitutes for female companionship. You want a woman with some brains, go to college, trade school, whatever. I also look at sex as a birthright, but there is a catch: you need to find a consenting partner. Period, unless you merely pleasure yourself. That being said, I see frequenting prostitutes as fraught with peril and generally not a good idea for a couple of reasons, mostly the usual obvious ones. In America and a lot of other places it really tends to be asking for trouble. In practice you'll be hard pressed to reliably find the clean, safe, not deranged prostitutes you seek, and there is simply no way to verify your prostitute will not be HIV infected, etc. The probability of finding a Julia Roberts, ala Pretty Woman, where underneath the prostitute exterior is a wonderful woman with her act together who even flosses her teeth, is essentially zero. You got yourself here. You also got yourself into the position you are in with women because of the beliefs you cling to. My suggestion would be to get out of the house and make some friends and work at improving your position in life. Since you have so much extra each month, save up and move to a more favorable part of the country for both employment and women. If you want your situation to change, then do something to change it. Blessed to have a prostitue.... :shakehead: you just don't get it, and probably won't. Purchasing the services of a prositiue is illeagal. You are not helping yourself or those women.
