Cool. I didn't know they did videos without their silly makeup.

I THINK that album, 'Animalize' was their first year they did the no makeup thing. I forget what year it was... Back in the early to mid 80's I think. I remember asking for, and getting, that album for xmas.

I also vaguely remember the look on my parents faces when they heard the tunes, 'Burn, Bitch, Burn' and, 'Murder In High Heels' from the same album. :lmao:

Cool. Most young girls won't even listen to that style of music, let alone learn to play it. She's done a fairly good job mastering odd time measures.

No links, but Chris Issak "Wicked Game" and some others by him. Just learned he's a local and performs around here fairly often.

Also, some older stuff from the 70s, like "I can see clearly now" by Johnny Nash (not Cash). Going to try and sing both of these at my next gig. The bridge on "I can see clearly now" is difficult because he does it all on one breath.

Also, some Harry Nillson "Everybody's talkin'" and "Without You"  I don't have his range (few men do), but going to try performing these soon also.

Did an Otis Redding at my last gig, "Sitting on the dock of the bay", and finding that people like that era a lot. A friend sang Hendrix's "Little Wing" damn well.

I have a full hollow body Gretsch with the Bigsby spring loaded tremolo. I've done some original songs that have that wavy surf sound like this.
