agnosticator
Par, I'm so sorry your loss and that your Dad had to suffer so. I once had a job where I traveled between nursing homes and witnessed the same type of incident. A woman fell and had a compound fracture to her femur that almost broke through her skin. She suffered overnight, and when I arrived in the morning, I had to get in the staff's face to get an ambulance! I couldn't believe it. The night staff didn't want to get blamed, so the idiots left her for the morning shift. I'll never understand this callous behavior. The elderly deserve better care and protection.
Phanta
It's hard to believe, that people would do that to another human being. Appalling! I'm so sorry, Par. Phanta

Thumbelina
I was looking forward to teasing Par but I did not expect this. This is so utterly sad. I hope those people are found out before they allow others to suffer. I am so sorry for your loss Par and for the manner in which it happened. Please accept my condolences.
par4dcourse
Many thanks for all the kind words from my ex-C family. You all mean the world to me. My niece's husband is second in command of the City police and we have several attorneys in the immediate family. An investigation is well under way.
Brother Jeff
Very sorry for your loss, Brother Par, and the way it happened. You may not think there is a god, but the Holy Farter is REAL, and I pray that He will prove it and blast a horrendous Fart of Loving Rage down on that shameful nursing home. Glory! If the Loving Wrath of the LARD doesn't teach them a lesson, then I'm all for suing them too. (((HUGS)))

bush country
Par, Lost my father on June 4 so I am with you on your sense of loss. Thankfully did not have to go through the nursing home business that you had to deal with. My thoughts are with you. MC
