lostman42
God christians are so ignorant! Someone commented on one of my facebook posts I made about evolution. She said that the fossil record proves creationism and that all the scientists are involved in a fucking conspiracy! How can people be soooooooo fucking stupid? Then she blamed the holocaust and columbine on atheism and said that atheism turns people into killers! I just wanna slap that person upside the head with a science text book! Maybe that would knock some intelligence into her! God people are so damn stupid, it takes away all the hope I have for humanity. I just wish religion would die already. This person is the same person who ruined my relationship with my best friend by convincing him and his family that I'm some kind of worthless thug. Mike D
These are the same Christians who don't believe dinosaurs ever existed. Dinosaur bones were planted by Satan as a trick to deceive us into believing his lies

Dinosaur bones were planted by Satan as a trick to deceive us into believing his lies Really? I thought God planted the dinosaur bones to test our faith even further, after all, he didn't want to make it *too* easy to believe in him! andyjj
The holocaust was a direct result of centuries of Christian anti semitism. Hitler and his cronies may not have been Christians, but they inherited the mantle of Christian persecution of Jews. That's not even tackling the problem of Christians killing Christians who happen to disagree with each other. I practise true Christian values- why just yesterday I burnt my neighbor at the stake for Heresy...
SoulofSilver
^Hitler was a pretty devout Catholic and wrote/spoke extensively on it, received praise from the woowoos in funny hats, and had no problem inscribing "god" on his belt buckles. Based on the actions of a heck of a lot of Christians I'd say he was definitely one.
Astreja
In that kind of situation, I'd be tempted to post one of Martin Luther's nasty anti-Semitic screeds but not identify it to the very end of the quote. I guess it all depends on whether you want to take the fight to that b!tch and whether or not you're in a position to just block her from replying to your posts. Super Moderator florduh Posted June 28, 2011 Super Moderator Share Posted June 28, 2011 I'm not convinced that atheism turns people into killers, but religion has a pretty strong record in that department.
PeaceOfMind
Then she blamed the holocaust and columbine on atheism and said that atheism turns people into killers! Is that so? Well then, I think your 'friend' needs to have a look at this...
Galien
I thought columbine was caused by the bizarre form of torture that is american high school. The only thing that suprises me is that it doesnt happen more often.

That said, the morontheist mentioned in the OP is clearly, IMHO, a victim of hoover babble. The lines are just too typical. I recommend a bitchslap whenever she starts to re-babble it. While the early Nazi party were a bunch of Bavarian Catholic hicks (the Bavarian/Austrian Alps are heavily Catholic and right wing even today), I don't know that Hitler was all that into it. He certainly exploited it and made a big show, but I think he saw it as a bunch of useful idiots. And they were.

AlphaToOmega
I always thought Hitler's actions were very Christian like and Biblical in origin. Just that he used more advanced technology than bashing babies heads against rocks or using an ox's jaw bone to kill. Common things to both: 1) Power mad mentality. Check. 2) Propaganda. Check 3) Use of fear. Check. 4) Genocide. Check 5) Total lack of remorse. Check. Yep. He was inspired by the literal writings of the Bible.
centauri
The Catholic Church deemed Hitler enough of a Christian to sign the Concordat with him in 1933. Article 1 The German Reich guarantees freedom of profession and public practice of the Catholic religion. It acknowledges the right of the Catholic Church, within the limit of those laws which are applicable to all, to manage and regulate her own affairs independently, and, within the framework of her own competence, to publish laws and ordinances binding on her members. I doubt if such Holy Spirit filled clerics would have endorsed an atheist sponsored agreement.

Let's not forget that the belief or nonbelief of the austrian moustache don't matter that much anyway. It didn't commit all the atrocities personally with its own two hands, did it? And the many millions of Germans (and collaborators in foreign countries) were predominantly... well you can guess their religion. Morals and (organized abrahamic) religion are not married to each other, no matter what morontheists claim. Actually all too often the two are more like vengeful ex-spouses trying to destroy their former love respectively.
Thurisaz
Now this bitch took it back and said the theory of evolution is responsible! Christians are idiots. Another piece of evidence for the claim that morontheists would make perfect slaves citizens of Orwell's Oceania. You don't need to teach them doublethink, they already are masters of that. And of crimestop too, while we're at it, which makes it so totally fucking impossible to have any serious debate with them.
CelticWhisper
And god dammit, when are they going to get it right? We don't kill Jews, we EAT BABIES. *sigh* Fucking christians will never get that through their heads.
lostman42
Hahaha Celtic. The chick went on to accuse me of being bitter towards god, so I reminded her that you can't be bitter towards someone you don't even believe in.
ireckinso
I think Christians are the ones bitter toward God. I mean if you believe that he is so hateful and vengefull, created us with flaws, disasters, desease and makes us bow down to him, who the hell wouldn't be bitter.
