FreeThinkerNZ
This little gem appeared on my facebook feed today. I'm tempted to make a separate topic and have the more informed members have at it, but that's probably not necessary. http://gods411.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/how-jesus-dies-for-you.html?m=1 Note the mention of the Shroud of Turin, which as far as I'm aware was proven to be fake. Wow. Didn't read it, just skimmed, as it's total BS of course. Unlike the torturous murders committed in the name of xianity.

God is love. Wait....! Thanks Violet!!!! Just that short little sentence clicked something in my head. We didn't ever ask God to born as human and die a horrible death for us. Yet we're constantly guilt tripped into always remembering this act of "love" and how much it hurt him to do it just for us. You know... many abusive relationships begin with the abuser really really going out of their way to "help" the victim, without the victim asking for it, and even if it's painful for the abuser at that point. Then it becomes material for guilt tripping, "how can you treat me like this? Don't you remember i saved your life way back then?" or something so the victim would feel as bad as possible about leaving the relationship, even if it's becoming clear that it's not safe. Puke. PUKE!!!

Yeah, it is funny, although the fact that some will actually believe this garbage is not so funny. At least we can tell what's been on the mind of whoever created that image. However, how could they possibly know anything about the King of Babylon's testicles?

It's not funny at all that somewhere, right now, there is a mom or dad who just realised their kid has been playing with Lucifer's testicles all weekend, and there will be fear of everyone going to hell over it, and possibly spanking the kid or something similar if more chocolate eggs are asked for. I have no clue about the source of the secret knowledge about the King's testicles though. Hmmm.

They haven't explained, though, how one man could have millions of chocolate testicles.
Jeff
Of course they're his testicles. Wouldn't be shocking if it wasn't sexual somehow. I grew up around stupid shit like this in my xtian school.

Lucy
Yes, and unicorn horns are meant to represent Jesus's erect penis. This is something someone I knew really believed.

Guest Furball
Are you sure you put these in the right thread? They look more like mocking Christianity than stuff fundies would post. Yeah good catch, i screwed up. My humble apologies to all.
GoldenWolf
Is it just me or does this remind me of those spam emails you'd get that were like "IF YOU DON'T FORWARD THIS TO 5 PEOPLE, BLOODY MARY WILL COME AND KILL YOU!!" or "IF YOU FORWARD THIS IN THE NEXT HOUR TO SOMEONE AND YOUR CRUSH WILL ASK YOU OUT!" Just another dumb hoax that everyone falls for.
rerics
It's also a form of coercion. "Like if you agree!!" Or in other words, if you ignore the invitation to "like", your Facebook friends will be coming around on your page inquiring/demanding why you didn't.
