Akheia
Considering how much damage evangelicals' "love" has done to people, I'd settle for them just ignoring everybody. I don't need that kind of "love".

And last, but not least... the winner of my posts for today due to mis-information, and quoting leviticus to boot.... Dear gods, the kind of historical rant I want to go on when I see this shit. Makes me fucking bugshit. This just makes me think of River in Firefly... "Your bible is broken."

Mike D
Has anyone seen this before? I've seen it three times posted on FB in the last few weeks. How did I get so many fundies in my FB friends list?? (ok I must be stupid I can't figure out how to add an image to a post even though i've done it before).. AMEN! im claiming healing in the name of Jesus" -one of my good friends; my heart just breaks knowing her pain. At the same time- WTF?? Why do fundies think they have to type out the prayer or say it where people can hear it? OH HEY LOOK SHE'S ALL SPIRITUAL AND STUFF. Didn't Jesus' ghostwriters make him say that she should pray in private, not in public? I'm thinking of this total bugfuck nutcase I saw on christianpost.com who prayed in "tongues." No, seriously. Her comments were this creepy, bizarre mishmash of made-up Arabic-sounding words she thought looked like speaking in tongues. Evangelical name-it-and-claim-it theology really makes its adherents crazy.

jblueep
Not sure if this piece of crap has been discussed on this thread before. I want to respond because this is just so lunatic, but I'm not de-closeted yet and don't want to stir up shit unnecessarily. Any ideas for responses that are benign but thought provoking? Here's two responses Pos:

Inqui
Isn't Pepsico owned by the Mormon church? It's not coming up on Wiki if they are. I'd imagine they're largely owned by shares, but that's me and I admittedly don't know a whole lot about business. Wouldn't be the first time Christians jump the gun on something though. antix
My aunt is in OCD mode today with the posts: Some video of a black preacher saying blacks need to leave the dem party Another pic of a black guy holding a bumper sticker saying "the bro has to go" Anti abortion posts. When you are 25 and brainwashed that is one thing, but at age 65 you should be able to see what is really going on.
