Walked right into that one.

Again, Daniel. The longer you stay here, the more you betray your faith. You've been made into such a fool, and it's almost pitiful that you don't see it.

He's got his Jesus Glasses® on... they block out all signs of his own stupidity.

Well, they're fashionably rose-tinted.

What astounds me so much about Daniel is that he keeps huffing and puffing about how we're all just a bunch of Christ-rejecting jerks, but he absolutely refuses to discuss why we reject Christ.

I mean, aside from the obvious ridiculousness of the story, the fact that Jesus is not of the house of David has been one that Daniel has refused to address.

I thought they worked like this...

"Peril Sensitive Sunglasses : Joo Janta 200 Super-Chromatic Peril Sensitive

Sunglasses have been specially designed to help people develop a relaxed

attitude to danger. At the first hint of trouble, they turn totally black and

thus prevent you from seeing anything that might alarm you. A double-pair is

frequently worn by Zaphod Beeblebrox."

Correct... and like I said... *you can't save those who don't want to be saved, no matter what your method.*

Hense, it isn't the method that saves a man.

Why would a woman care what saves a man?

Now, I'm not saying this is Daniel. I've never seen Daniel. This is just another thoughtful individual wearing his Jesus glasses.

*makes some for Asimov*

You'll like them, the recipe for 'em is passed from mother to daughter in my family from generations... :yum:

I wonder...

Do you think that we are good people, daniel?

Or do you think that we can't be good people, since we are atheists?

Or maybe you think that we can't be good people, because we post on this website?

Or some other thing entirely?

What do you think about us? Seriously, and if you can, without offending us?

That's what I once thought, too. The devil delighted in people who gave money and time to the Red Cross, who helped their fellow man, who just lived their lives, raised their kids, and saw no need for a savior. These were the people who were destined for hell with no chance of ever turning to God. These people could not be convinced that they had done anything worthy of eternal torment.

The people who you needed to get to were the people who hung out in dark alleys. The people who were controlled by their sin. The lurkers. The kiddie porn guys. The drug addicts and drunks. They were the ones who were very close to the Kingdom of God, and reachable for Christ.

I guess I'm fucked. I've got too much self-respect and self-preservation instincts to go off the deep end.
