Looks like this topic got lost while the server was down, so I'm putting it back up.

All episodes AFAIK are available on Youtube. The series looks at three different points in a timeline of speculative evolution: 5 million years from now, 100 million years, and 200 million years. Each episode looks at a different future habitat, detailing the species who live in each while providing examples and parallels to the present.

 

Each future era was imagined and constructed by a team of biologists and other scientists. They regularly appear throughout the series, offering their expertise and eccentric personalities (one of these guys looks like Mr. Darwin).:HaHa:

I'd like to look at the videos but have a very limited internet quota. Based on what you said:

 

Evolution is about survival and not about building super soldiers. When we started creating our own environments, started curing diseases and either using or killing off other species, we no longer needed evolution to survive.

 

Some species have been roughly as they are now for tens, even hundreds of millions of years.

 

It is not time that counts but changes in environment.
