I was watching documentaries about North Korea.

Like this one (it has 5 parts):

Or this one (it should have 5 parts as well, but I only found two - this one and 4/5):

Honestly, I don't see much difference between the Xtian God and dictators like Kim Jong Il. They both abuse their people while demanding unconditional praise. Kim Jong Il allows all this happen to those orphan children, but the same can be said about God.

But while everybody in their right mind condemns Kim Jong Il, people think the Christian God is good....

Odd. But many of those poor Koreans might also genuinely think that Kim Jong Il is good. It's only a matter of indoctrination.

A doctor heals them, but they direct their gratitude towards the "Dear Leader", instead of the doctor, and science. Again, that reminds me of something...

What I hate is that Christians will hold up loons like Kim Jong Il and other communist leaders like Mao and Lenin and say, "See! Atheism is evil! Look at all the horrible things these athiest countries did! Millions dead!"

Cults of personality are just that- other cults! These are societal religions.
