jblueep
Someone has probably posted this before, but I watched this today and found it interesting/enlightening http://www.youtube.com/user/HamboneProductions#p/a/u/2/HHIz-gR4xHo
Legion
Awesome topic! I will watch the video. I majored in math and I play poker, but I don't much care for probabilities and such, except here. Conditional probabilities are interesting to me because in some cases they can show a relation of entailment between events.
Legion
I somewhat enjoyed this video. I think Bayes theorem is incredibly interesting, but I think this guy's application of it to theological matters kind of tarnished the presentation of the theorem. jblueep
I basically felt the same way Legion. It was interesting but I think he stretched it a bit.
Guest Valk0010i
I somewhat enjoyed this video. I think Bayes theorem is incredibly interesting, but I think this guy's application of it to theological matters kind of tarnished the presentation of the theorem. I think it was more designed for the fact, that people like William Lane Craig use it to argue for the historical probability of the resurrection of jesus. So I am guessing Carrier was more addressing that, then anything else.
