Don't you know that Jesus cried, after all, is the shortest verse in the Bible, cause we are supposed to believe that Jesus is so wonderful? He cried. Waahhhhhhh. waaah. He cried for the salvation of Jerusalem, and yet he is God, and yet supposedly their disbelief was too strong for God to overcome to make them believe that they be saved? Really Jesus? I thought you were All-Powerful?! Lmao. Who cares. In which case the author of that book of "God's Word" was trying to have it both ways-- that God is Almight and can do whatever he wants, AND that he wills to be saved, but man's will against his own salvation is too strong for God to overcome. And don't give me the "free will" b.s. cause the Bible even teaches against that. "I will have mercy on whoever I will to have mercy and whom I will, I harden."
