MrSpooky
Unless they spelled it "Krist." http://www.krusaders.home.dixie-net.com/meet.html They're this group that runs around the country inflating and blowing up hot water bottles with their Christ-powered lungs and breaking boards and shit with their skulls. I once chatted with a guy online about this (I'm in bold). "Dude, the Krusaders are these guys that show the power of GOD by doing nigh-impossible feats like breaking stone slabs with their skulls. They're awesome!" "Holy shit, those guys must be on an assload of steroids!" "Wha... no! It's just lots of hard work and practice." "Ah, terrific. In that case we won't have to stick in some silly hypothesis like the power of faith or something." "I hate you." ^__^

Onyx
Sounds too much like KKK turning to Karate.

Fweethawt
Go ahead and klick on the link that says "Krusaders in action". Then scoll down that page a bit where you will see a photo of that guy using The Power of Christ to, you guessed it, drive nails! (in a church, even)
queenie
So, I guess since my son can break boards and everything, he's got the power of Krist too!? Wow - had I only known. Thing with Karate/Tae Kwon Do, etc...you take the Eastern philosophy and the heirarchy of respect, like they say they have, you've killed quite a bit of the wonderful things about the program. Checkmate
Nothing like a three-ring circus in church, is there? But then again...church IS a freak show. They have a ring master, clowns, rubes, magic acts, fortune tellers and even Big Tent Revivals. So maybe this is appropriate after all. Never mind my critique. Karry on, Kristian klowns! Vigile
Interesting why xtians don't understand how offensive the term crusader is and how poorly it paints them as it dredges up connotations of some of the worst of their history. This Nazarene University from my home town uses Crusaders as their mascot: http://www.nfcnaz.org/
BlueGiant
Cute, kind of like doing an Annie Oakley in their church, ya know? I mean, if they actually studied more than the physics of a stage show, that should be about the same. Keep in mind a martial art's original purpose. And any self defense course that gives lectures on how to flip people (note bystanders sitting off to the side), sorry folks. I'd hardly call what they do superhuman. Now lift a full (not stripped) car and bench press it and we'll talk. Also, nice burn Spooky.
Eponymic
My gosh. I get the feeling from looking at their pictures that using their hard heads is the only way they could get work that pays more than minimum wage. Shallow maybe, but more likely astute. Especially when you consider this quote from their mission statement, "The Krusaders train twice per week in a private Karate class. The Eastern philosophy has been removed from the school's setting and replaced with Christian principles." So does that mean they're teaching Charate? Cause it sure ain't Karate if you remove the Eastern philosophy & principles from it.
