Do Christians (well some Christians) actually worship the Bible? I know not intentionally but unintentionally it seems some do. Seriously to me it seems some people do.

*cough* Creationists *cough*.

Many NT scholars have used the term "biblidolatry" to refer to Christians (mostly inerrantists) who take the Bible as practically the 4th thing in the trinity.

So yes, it happens. A lot, unfortunately.

If Christianity didn't have a bible,

Christianity would have no God.

Their bible is an idol.

I've heard some people say that "Jesus is the Word". Does this means they think Jesus is the Bible?? <_< Anyone?

You see, most people fail to see that particular "truth" for what it is -- an actual TRUTH.

Yes, Jesus is the Word.

That's all he ever was.

Just a bunch of words.

I've heard some missionaries say in all seriousness that their Jesus was the Torah.

Which to me is about as blasphemous as you can get.

Ahh -- the ultimate non-answer.

To paraphrase - it seems like irrationality because you don't have this magical spirit inside of you that makes it clear.

Or even --

If you agreed with me - you'd agree with me.

Gevalt.
