marmot
Hey all, I couldn't post to the podcast section so I thought I would post here. I am looking for podcasts that feature scholarly critiques of the Bible, both OT and NT. I have listened to a few from Bart Ehrman on the NT (mostly about the forgeries, errors) and I would love to have some recommendations that fall in a similar strain. One of the particular things I wanted to learn more about is the history of the development of the OT -- I was fascinated by the idea that Yahweh was possibly one of several polytheistic Jewish gods, and he eventually "killed off" Asherah and the other(s) god(s). The only place I heard this discussed was in Evid3nc3's youtube clips, and I would love to learn more about this. Any recommendations of episodes/regular podcasts/speakers/authors I should look up for more scholarly criticism? Thanks!
marmot
By the way, I have been downloading some episodes like the FFRF but those are usually much more focused on current events type of things. Thank you for any recommendations!
JadedAtheist
I would recommend Robert Price. He has a regularly pod cast where he answers questions sent to him by his audience. He has even answered a few of mine!
