Goodbye Jesus

Frustrated At Religious Bus Signs.

When I went home from the local mall on Tuesday, I saw some "Jesus is _____" and "I'm a mormon" ads on the buses. They definitely ticked me off.

Why that religious organizations still insisted to put those signs up that my belief of the separation of church and state?

If other private institutions can purchase ad space somewhere, it means that churches can too.

C'est la vie.

Yeah, but just try to put a sign that says "I'm an atheist . . ." and see the shit start flying.

welcome Dangerman! So good to have you with us.

I think we are probably going to have to deal with these advertisments for a long time yet. It is going to take at least another hundred years before we 'non-believers' even come close to the percentage of believers. Unfortunetly, we are in the same catigory as gay, black and jew......it is sad that we can't out-rightly states our opinions. I think you'll even see that they will bring back, 'burning at the stake' before this smoothes out in our future history. Sad! Very sad.

Hope to hear more from you!

sincerely, Margee

the atheists have already done the advertising on buses thing, and got lambasted for it. did anyone see the church who drove a truck with a 'jesus still loves you' sign around behind one of the buses?

I think the atheist ads are just as tacky as the christian ads.

Whoring out your beliefs is low class.
