Justin
I really didn't know where to put this so i thought i would here. Does anyone recall the passage in the Bible that speaks of the "wild man" in the valley, or it could be canyon or worded close to this? Years ago i remember reading online someplace about a verse that speaks of what some believe is a Satyr. I'm not talking about the places in the KJV that calls them by name, but another place in the OT that talks about an actual hoofed-man like critter that inhabits this valley or some damn place and that it should be avoided. It's all very vague and i can just remember brief bits. Does anyone have a clue what i'm talking about or am i just crazy?

Perhaps someone else can locate it. Could you mean this wild man, who lived in the tombs and was driven into the desert by demons: Luke 8:27,29 And as he got out [of the ship] on the land, a certain man out of the city met him, who had demons a long time, and put on no clothes, and did not abide in a house, but in the tombs. For he had commanded the unclean spirit to go out from the man. For very often it had seized him; and he had been bound, kept with chains and fetters; and breaking the bonds he was driven by the demon into the deserts. Ouroboros
Does anyone have a clue what i'm talking about or am i just crazy? I suspect you're talking about Azazel (from Wiki): Leviticus 16:8–10 reads: "8and Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats, one lot for the Lord and the other lot for Azazel. 9And Aaron shall present the goat on which the lot fell for the Lord, and offer it as a sin offering; 10while the goat designated by lot for Azazel shall be left standing alive before the Lord, to make expiation with it and to send it off to the wilderness for Azazel." The ESV provides the footnote "16:8 The meaning of Azazel is uncertain; possibly the name of a place or a demon, traditionally a scapegoat; also verses 10, 26". Most scholars accept the indication of some kind of demon or deity,[4] however Judit M. Blair notes that this is an argument without supporting contemporary text evidence.[5]
