SaraMWHB
No, it's not at all about being brave! http://brave-generation.com/testimonials.html This is all about recruiting young people into the fold and then giving them an event that cements their feeling of belonging and a reason to be excited about their beliefs. It's hard to imagine that parents will be encouraging their teenagers to attend. This is the type of event that will create more fundy monsters running around telling us non-believers we're going to hell! I don't like to censor things from my kids, but I don't think I'd want them to attend this (not that they would want to). Why do so few people realize the incongruity that while the majority of US citizens are christian believers, we're now living in a society more unethical and immoral than ever?? What ever happened to prayer and such being a private matter, taught at home and in Sunday School? Do you think there'll be a protest at this event? If there is, you can bet your ass that the righteous butt-holes will be crying about how they've been persecuted for their beliefs. We would be so much better off if we had listened to John Lennon! Thanks for listening to my rant.
