Noraa Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Whats up? I know it may seem strange for a ex-christian to believe in God, but thru my meditation and continued devotion to fight against evil God has revealed his true self to me. I have a job but unfortunately make low wages so I don't have a traditional home. My home is the wilderness, the urban jungle. The purpose of this conversation is to show people that bad situations should not turn u away from God and that people should use their power to the fullest to make the best of a situation that appears bad but can be really good. First off about me. I have been committed to surviving by myself and taking responsibility as an adult since I got out of high school. I tried college but the math classes were too hard regardless of how much I studied. I did good in my other classes but math slowed me down. If it wasn't for math, I would have had a college degree (personally I feel that all the math we need is adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing but thats another story). Since I couldn't finish college, my only other option was 2 get a job regardless of if it was low paying or high paying. And as u can see, I ended up with a low paying job which means that rent, mortgage, and bills are impossible to pay or impossible to pay comfortably. Being homeless was my only option. As far as my family goes well believe it or not my dad is a millionaire. He never really cared much 4 me. He didn't spend a lot of time with me and he didn't raise me properly for me to get ready for life. He thought very high of himself like he was better than a lot of people. He bad talked me, my momma, brother, and sister. He was into getting drunk and buying hookers. I have nothing against prostitution but I am against men who put hookers befire their wife and children. And also believe it or not, he is a church deacon. My momma was ok but she has always deceived herself like she married a good man. But my momma knows she married a demon. She has dealt with a lot of mental frustration since they have been married. I'm sure u can tell I don't really associate with my dad. If he happens 2 be around when I visit other family members then I guess I see him then. He hates me because I didn't finish college but isn't proud of me for keeping a job and living a righteous life. He's all about money and status I have been homeless off and on since 2007. By 2008, I finally accepted that the only way 4 me to live comfortably was to be homeless. God blessed me with the mental power to be homeless and happy. I'll briefly describe my homeless life and in a later topic I'll describe more. I first lived in my car. I kept myself entertained with a portable DVD player. Then when I discovered wi-fi, I got a laptop. Wi-fi and other portable devices are truly a blessing from God because homeless people need those because they are the only option for home entertainment. Later on I discovered public electrical plug ins and then decided to get a Xbox 360 and a portable 9 inch flat screen TV. I eventually stopped driving and had to start sleeping in parks and behind buildings on the safer side of town. I got a storage 2 keep my stuff in. And then iPhones and androids were invented so I decided to get an android because they are more portable than a laptop. So as u can see, I'm never bored As far as getting a girl well, a guy like me realistically only has one option and that is escorts. I don't blow all my money on them. Right now I normally see an escort twice a month. I mean come on, even if u are against escorts surely u can understand that guys like me only have escorts as an option. U can't really expect me 2 live my life without a woman. Now after u all have realized that I havew gone thru these outrageous scenarios, u might wonder how the fuck can I still follow God? Well I do believe that God works in mysterious ways and this path will definitely lead me to a great destination. I'm not suffering now. I do wish that my situation was better but I'm not complaining about it. I thank God that he has blessed with not only the skills to survive homeless and have fun, but also because of mental power he has given to go thru it. I'm not ashamed or depressed about my situation. I do hope to have a home, a girlfriend and a family one day. Hopefully God will bless with me with that but if this current situation is the path he wants all my life then I'm fine with that So hopefully I can inspire people to still follow God even if they are no longer a Christian or if they are what appears to be a bad situation. Heaven is rewarded to those that live righteous lives. Heaven isn't just simply given to those who accepts a Jewish carpenter who lived over 2,000 years. And don't think I'm here to down talk non-believers. I'm not trying 2 look down on others or view myself better than non-believers. I'm just tryin 2 inspire people to follow God. Christianity and the Bible may not be real, but God, Heaven, and Hell is
Kaiser01 Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Also sorry about your situation, sounds rough, a good way to get out would maybe wright a sensational book on your life, it would probably sell.
Super Moderator florduh Posted July 11, 2012 Super Moderator Posted July 11, 2012 Hello and welcome. Christianity and the Bible may not be real, but God, Heaven, and Hell is Do you have any evidence that this is, in fact, true?
blackpudd1n Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 I've got to admit, I'm pretty suss about your story, Noraa. If you have a storage shed in which you keep your stuff, why, then, are you sleeping in parks? Would not the shelter from the elements of your storage shed be better? I have been homeless. Twice. If I had a storage shed, and no other shelter available, I'd be sleeping in the storage shed. Shelter is the number one concern of a homeless person, followed by food, not wi-fi, laptops, android phones, and so on and so forth. Just saying. 1

Yeah, it seems a bit like a pilot for a new 'reality' show, "Homeless With Jesus."

Well, put it this way- it sure as hell isn't matching up with any version of reality regarding homelessness that I have ever seen or experienced firsthand.

I tried that before and almost got banned from there but fortunately the owners forgave me. I sleep over on the side of town where crime is low and there are plenty of businesses
Noraa Posted July 11, 2012 Author Posted July 11, 2012 How do you know God, Heaven and hell are real? Thru meditation and nothing can truly be evil if there is no hell to go to. Without hell, all a person has to do is be smart enough to legally get away with evil an a action and then have a free ride thru life

That's why you either go in after they leave for the day and leave before they come in, or you choose one that is basically a bunch of garages and very minimal maintenance, and always ensure that you're in and out outside of hours when people would be coming and going. Where are your street smarts?

Its hard to punish people if there is no hell, but that doesn't prove the proposition that there is a hell. ITS GOT TO BE TRUE is way way different then, IT IS. 1

Sorry, go fish. 1
Thackerie Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Wi-fi and other portable devices are truly a blessing from God ... It's nice to have access to wi-fi, etc. but it's more a blessing from the actual humans who created the technology and who made it available. It has nothing to do with some supernatural god thingy. It sounds like you believe a lot of crap. 1
Ro-bear Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 U can 4get about nspiring ne1 until u write n something other than textspeak. 2
Guest Valk0010 Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 The more I think about this, I think this person is a troll, a laptop would be 75 percent of a rent check depending on the area. 2

That's the direction my thinking's been heading in since the get-go. I've never known of a homeless person to cite home entertainment as a necessity. 1
ConureDelSol Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 I'm confused about you. You say that "God, heaven and hell are true" yet in your profile you say "There could be one or several gods." If you believe in heaven and hell, my guess is that you believe in Yahweh and according to the Bible, he is the only God. Unless you don't use the Bible as some sort of authority or guidance? Perhaps your belief in God is based on dreams, experiences and feelings? Do you believe that God actively interacts with the world or that he is a being that simply started creation and doesn't effect the earth? I'm just trying to understand where you're coming from.
Kaiser01 Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 How do you know God, Heaven and hell are real? Thru meditation and nothing can truly be evil if there is no hell to go to. Without hell, all a person has to do is be smart enough to legally get away with evil an a action and then have a free ride thru life Evil is subjective, Good is too but being good is also embedded into us biologically. Like Valk said, without hell evil can be hard to punish sometimes but that dosent mean evil does not exist. Meditation as trying to prove God is the equivalent of you telling me that the way you know God is real, is by the raindrops that you hear are making coherent sentences. A god who is all knowing would know how to punish a finite existence of evil without a infinite existence in hell.

Without hell, all a person has to do is be smart enough to legally get away with evil an a action and then have a free ride thru life Good and evil are determined by the mores and ethics of the society in which an individual was raised in. What you may consider evil, may not be considered evil in another culture. Those who are in another culture may consider having sex with multiple partners fine, while Americans may see it as evil. Some Muslims believe honor killings are not evil. The Mayans sacrificed captive members of other tribes, include men, women, and children, to their god and rejoiced in it where we see the practice as evil and barbaric. Atheism is evil in Muslim countries where it simply unpopular in America. So how would one know what actions one can commit that actually makes them deserve Hell? The fact that there may be no ultimate form of justice is no reason to automatically assume Hell is real.

Well I do believe that God works in mysterious ways and this path will definitely lead me to a great destination. I'm not suffering now. If you were suffering, would you be doubting God? Remember that the Flying Spaghetti Monster also works in mysterious ways, and the Devil too, and Santa Claus, and ... They all are very mysterious. It's hard to say if Satan is giving you a good life and God screws you over or the reversed. I do wish that my situation was better but I'm not complaining about it. I thank God that he has blessed with not only the skills to survive homeless and have fun, but also because of mental power he has given to go thru it. Maybe you just had a talent for it? Maybe it was natural by birth... which means God = Nature, Nature = God. Christianity and the Bible may not be real, but God, Heaven, and Hell is God, Heaven, and Hell may not be real, but reality is. You know, it's all good. You can believe whatever you want. It's all up to you. If God helps you and blesses you, then you're a lucky SOB.

Homeless yet buying call girls, sounds familiar.
