The game is called Black Marked Bible.

The rules are simple. Post scriptures that a preacher will never mention during a sermon. Scriptures that are never spoken of by Christians and are basically blacked out of their bible. I'll start.

Luke 6:28-30

bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.

First thing I thought of when I saw the title:

Deuteronomy 22:20-21

If, however, the charge is true and no proof of the young woman’s virginity can be found, 21 she shall be brought to the door of her father’s house and there the men of her town shall stone her to death. She has done an outrageous thing in Israel by being promiscuous while still in her father’s house. You must purge the evil from among you.

I can't believe you're taking those verses out of context.  You just don't understand the culture back then.zDuivel7.gif

The game is about POINTING OUT parts of the BIble that have NOT been preached upon from the pulpit.

I know that for the most part, pastors of today don't want to bore their benefactors to death with HISTORY and how (parts of) the Bible (they like to pick and choose) is NOT relevant today because of cultural differences...that is one of the reasons that I think that they "black out" much of it. It would be TOO OFFENSIVE to most and they would lose funding.

Psalm 137:8-9

Daughter Babylon, doomed to destruction,
happy is the one who repays you
according to what you have done to us.

Happy is the one who seizes your infants
and dashes them against the rocks.

Judges 1:19

"And the Lord was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron."

Isaiah 6:9-10 "And [God] said to [isaiah] 'Go and tell [the Israelites]: Be ever hearing but never understanding, be ever seeing but never perceiving.' Make the hearts of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed."

If that doesn't make you see the how petty and vindictive biblegod is, nothing will.

Numbers 31:13-18 where Moses commands his officers who just returned from conquering the Midianites with women and children POWs to kill the women and male children, but save the female virgins for themselves.

Murdering defenseless prisoners, including children, and then authorizing child rape. So much for turning the other cheek.

Judges 9:23
"Then God sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Shechem; and the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech:"

Because God respect human free will and also God hates sin so much.

Judges 11:30-31
"And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the Lord, and said, If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands, Then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the Lord's, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering."

Judges 11:34
"And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she was his only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter."

Judges 11:39
"And it came to pass at the end of two months, that she returned unto her father, who did with her according to his vow which he had vowed: and she knew no man."

Because God hates human sacrifice (except for Jesus)

Numbers 25:1-9

And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab.

And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods.

And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel.

And the Lord said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the Lord against the sun, that the fierce anger of the Lord may be turned away from Israel.

And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baalpeor.

And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

 And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;

And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.

And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand.

More human sacrifice to please God, because Gods love human sacrifice.

Ezekiel 20:25-26

Moreover I gave them statutes that were not good and ordinances by which they could not live. I defiled them through their very gifts, in their offering up all their firstborn, in order that I might horrify them, so that they might know that I am the Lord.

Absolutely they do. And not just Yahweh either. Chemosh will totally kick Yahweh's ass in a pinch if a king offers up his firstborn son.

2 Kings 3:26-27

When the king of Moab saw that the battle was going against him, he took with him seven hundred swordsmen to break through, opposite the king of Edom; but they could not. Then he took his firstborn son who was to succeed him, and offered him as a burnt offering on the wall. And great wrath came upon Israel, so they withdrew from him and returned to their own land.

Ecclesiastes 3:21

English Standard Version (ESV)

21 Who knows whether the spirit of man goes upward and the spirit of the beast goes down into the earth?  22 So I saw that there is nothing better than that a man should rejoice in his work, for that is his lot. Who can bring him to see what will be after him?

Proverbs 31

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

The Words of Lemuel

31 The words of King Lemuel, the [a]oracle which his mother taught him:

Give strong drink to him who is perishing,
And wine to him [d]whose life is bitter.
Let him drink and forget his poverty
And remember his trouble no more.

1 Timothy 2:11-15

Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing.

Good thing god picked the gender with a uterus to bear children.
