megasamurai
Free will still does little to explain why actions have the consequences they do. According to Christianity, gays get AIDS because they have the free will to have orgies. Of course, who created the consequence of this, the AIDS virus? Couldn't God eradicate all STDs and thus make the reason for these actions being considered sinfula moot point. Free will does little to explain or justify the suffering in the world. Are natural disasters caused by people's free will? It's a poor explanation of the problem of evil.

Are natural disasters caused by people's free will? It's a poor explanation of the problem of evil. The only way any of this becomes valid is if you actually believe this garbage and in a god(s) other than that it is 100% meaninless drivel. Natural disasters are the biological and normal process of the planetary ecosystem. Evil and will have nothing to do with it. You can look at it as a large integrated machine nothing more. Evil and freewill along these lines means nothing unless you believe. As it stands most people around here do not so this is sort of mute and not even all that relevant if you do. We do not have control over anything in the end but what you choose to think and whether you act in ways that are good for you and others or only you.
