Thurisaz
So I'm watching some music videos on the side while my morning coffee takes effect; been some time since I last did it due to redistribution of cable channels over here some time ago. And while I'm checking my Eve Online market orders I stumble over something I can't believe. Namely that video of fuckface Timberlake's song "tunnel vision". To recap: Recently, censored versions of several music videos that previously ran uncensored have surfaced here. Sometimes literally years after the songs themselves were popular. The only reason I can come up with is that someone wants to erase all public memory of the uncensored version with the image of the new censored one. We're talking about songs like Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback girl" where the line "this shit is bananas" was perfectly fine to be broadcast at first, then got replaced with a video version that bleeped out the "shit". And what do I see now in above-mentioned video? A nice parade of boobs. Yup female topless nudity. Live on air without even an attempt at censorship. Just how fucked-up is this? (Of course it's perfectly possible that next week another censored version of the vid will replace the current one but still...)
Gamecock1973
mmmm...boobs! haha Actually, censorship kind of makes me laugh now. It's hard for me to even remember a decade ago (prior to my deconversion) when i was so righteously offended at so many things! I find that now I've seen about everything there is to see and I'm hardened to it, I can't really understand how people are so offended about such things. My mom recently signed some petition deriding the new reality show "Naked and Afraid" as soft-core porn....Muhahahahahaha. I do remember about 15 years ago visiting a friend in Denmark and walking into the corner store near his house and seeing hard-core, uncensored, full-penetration-on-the-cover porn mags on the display rack at the eye level of the 5 year olds in the store. No one seemed to bat an eyelash about it (besides me!), and the culture didn't seem to be utterly destroyed by such evils....but what do i know? JamesG
As a connoisseur of breasts I personally feel it was a rather nice display of some fine human ta tas. Unfortunately this display of objecting women as mere sex objects will end after this period and probably resume at some point down the line .
