♦ ficino ♦
Researchers try to find out how people are able to have orgasms by just fantasizing/thinking: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/09/29/sunday-review/ill-have-what-shes-thinking.html?ref=todayspaper&_r=0 I can't help but wonder whether this phenomenon is related to some recent threads on here. TheBluegrassSkeptic
Personally speaking, in your head there are no audiences. Which means no judgement. Maybe it's a sign of the times. We are already extremely distanced in our relationships thanks to increased work and societal requirements compared to those 50 years ago.

amateur
Oh, this is definitely related to certain threads around here! But I think there's some "touching herself" involving Jordan! Hi, Jordan! On a TMI-note, after turning 40, I've had several occasions of a Big O with only thoughts/fantasies. Woo-hoo! Women Over 40 Rock!!! And now I can never, ever, ever let my family or children see that I've posted things on this site.
♦ Fuego ♦
It happens nocturnally for men sometimes. No physical stimulation at all. Conversely, there have been times with plenty of physical stimulation, but no excitement and it just goes on and on with no "pop". The excitement part is what triggers it. Some guys even have that as a problem (premature ejaculation) just from getting excited about the prospect of sex. So I suppose it might be possible to consciously do this, but the daydream would have to be pretty amazing. Dream-state seems real to the mind, so it's easier to pop-off. Voice
I was better at doing that as a teen, orgasm via fantasy alone. It could still happen, but I'm old now and can hardly get it up any more anyway.

I have always had a terrible habit waking up nice and happy. Sometimes I remember the dream sometimes I didn't think I had such a dream.
