Guest JordanRiver
I know most here do not believe in Jesus...but if right this second He appeared and convinced you He is real..what is the one question you would ask Him? What would you ask Him to DO for you? Let us discuss...this is a two part question. Ask? Do?
♦ ficino ♦
There are two threads in the Lion's Den directed to you by name, and you have not answered on either one. After your first thread was closed, you started a once-saved-always-saved thread and provided very minimal replies to the questions posed to you there. And now you're starting yet another thread? Why not come clean and address what's already been presented to you?
Adam5
I know most here do not believe in Jesus...but if right this second He appeared and convinced you He is real..what is the one question you would ask Him? What would you ask Him to DO for you? Let us discuss...this is a two part question. Ask? Do? Why not you Zeus or Allah or Woden? Why single out Mr magic man? I agree with Ficino, it is better to answer questions people have taken the trouble to ask you first. or You could take time out, to read the intelligent posts that people make here. bornagainathiest
To follow up Ficino's point, Jordan... BurnedOut and Crazyguy123 have both started up threads here in the Den, addressing questions specifically to you. Why don't you deal with the stack of queries piling up in your 'In' tray first, huh? Guest JordanRiver
I will not be answering those threads. I know what I want to say, but I've realized that no matter what I say, it won't be respected, and it will never be enough. I'm not the type to debate or whatever.I just live my life and go about my business. It's like some here are just dying to argue with me. Not going to happen. Guest JordanRiver
Just because I am one of the few Christian s here...doesn't mean I need to answer questions. I'm just here chilling and hanging out. I don't feel like answering a bunch of questions back and forth.
Guest JordanRiver
Is there a rule that says I need to answer everyone's questions as a Christian? That's exhausting. I'll pass.

You come to a forum where you KNOW you'll be vigorously challenged -- and you say your only desire is to just live life, go about your business, and hang out without controversy or contention? Yeah, pull the other one. You won't answer questions, but you want US to answer yours? You come to a forum where you know people have been through the whole Christian deal and are done with it, and often damaged by it, and you whine because you're disrepected (you poor, pathetic, martyred little thing)? And you get so self-righteous about it that you have to make four consecutive replies to justify yourself? Mods, mods, mods! This troll has proven itself utterly trollish.

mymistake
I would ask God: "Why is Jordan here?" I'm sure God wouldn't answer either.
Super Moderator TheRedneckProfessor Posted October 3, 2013 Super Moderator Share Posted October 3, 2013 Incidentally, Jordan, I just finished reading over the "Sluts for Jesus" thread and it toward the end of it, you were taking a pretty severe pummeling by florduh and a few others. Did you start this thread as a convenient distraction for yourself? And if so, isn't that somewhere close to the very pinnacle of trollery? Astreja
Good riddance! Thanks, Florduh. I still think that "Jordan" was a guy, and it just occurred to Me that it might have been that idiot Jay in drag -- Same multi-vomiting of "Thank U Jebus"-style posts. Perhaps that's why JR refused to engage us in dialogue, as a slip-up in a reply might include a familiar phrase that would out "her" as a previously banned troll.

I've never known any female who was so quick to tell total strangers about her sexuality. And then when nobody showed interest she kept dropping hints and innuendo about it. Any way you cut it Jordan was an outlier. Way out there.

midniterider
I know most here do not believe in Jesus...but if right this second He appeared and convinced you He is real..what is the one question you would ask Him? What would you ask Him to DO for you? Let us discuss...this is a two part question. Ask? Do? He never appeared while I prayed to him for 10 years. Why would he appear, ever? Jesus is a mindfuck. You allow other people to mess with your head and pretty soon you find yourself doing the same mindless religious rituals as they do. Monkey see monkey do. A better question might be "Why should I pretend that the voice in my head is sometimes me and at other times Jesus?" When really it is always my own voice. Another good questions is "Why do people feel the need to relinquish their personal self authority and autonomy to another personality they call Jesus which is really just their own self?" That 'still small voice' is just my own. Jesus never manifests further than a vague idea in your head. Some particularly talented people may be able to create a better Jesus through tulpa-forcing but that's not an independent entity, just a self-created thought form. When Jesus goes on tour and I can take a photo of him I may be interested but really I've been handling my life ok for the last half century.

So you're going to continue posting....but not really participate in the thread once people start disagreeing with you....sounds like evangelism. We've already been Christians. We didn't like it. Why are you trying to convince us to accept something that we've already done and then got tired of it? What's in this for you? Do you get paid for this? Or are you just an OCD fanatic? ◊ crazyguy123 ◊
I know that JR is gone now, but I still want to answer the question anyway. Here is my answer. If the Bible god came to me and said, "Tada Crazy, I'm real mothafucka!" I would ask, "Why did you need to impregnate your own mother so that she would give birth to yourself, just so you could kill yourself and bring yourself back to life? Why not just simply forgive everyone who is sorry for pissing you off without a blood sacrifice?" Maybe I'd ask him why he's so much of a hypocrite, why he hates gays so much (perhaps it's because most gay people are not barbaric and he only likes those who are barbaric? ), and why he kills so many kids in the OT. Hell, I'd even ask why he dumped Asherah for Jordan River. Surely Asherah is way hotter and way better in bed. She's a goddess dammit! Maybe she wasn't submissive enough and wouldn't let him make her wear a a slave collar and a promise ring. I might even ask him if Asherah is still available.
