Does Anybody Notice A Break In Tradition In Catholic Churches?

Has anybody been paying attention to news articles and even this Youtube video of a Catholic Nun on The Voice (Italy)? I wasn't raised Catholic or anything, but I've noticed an interest in some churches to break away from traditional hymns, and even getting into evangelizing. It's kind of odd, because I actually like that. 

 

Maybe it has something to do with me likening it to rebellion. I just don't like repetition. I never did when I was going to my church. Thoughts?

Times change and so do other people's interests, as the people change so goes the church

Well their choice is to progress or shrinking

What i cannot stand is catholic said that they never change since the first time

Study genetic mutations in common viruses.  That will help you understand changes in church/dogma/tradition, etc.  At least, that's what a wise man once told me (wink!).
