Like the writings of Nostradamus, there are many claims of hidden messages in the Christian Bible, as well as many other ancient texts. Could there have been hidden messages in such texts? Yes. The main reason would have been to "hide" statements, information from religious authority that would be contrary to religious teachings. Although Nostradamus could have had such hidden messages in his writings, what would be the purpose for hiding a cure for cancer in the bible? One would  think a loving god would want such a cure for cancer to be known and practiced.

 

I think it is obvious that such claims are made for gullible believers that are willing to fork out the cash to find-out some bogus interpretation and claim.

Oh my gawd.  I endured ten minutes of fluff and hooks and he still never got around to telling us what it was all about.  How long was that commercial?  I want ten minutes of my life back.

I wouldn't put it past god to hide a cure for cancer and then get his jollies by watching people die of it for 2,000 years before revealing his magical antedote.
