FreeThinkerNZ Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 This website hosts the Living After Faith podcast: http://livingafterfaith.blogspot.com/ Episodes include: Dr. Marlene Winell joins us for a discussion of Religious Trauma Syndrome and PTSD. David G. McAfee, author of Mom, Dad, I'm an Atheist, joins us for a lively discussion of coming out. It's part of Recovering From Religion, which also hosts the Secular Therapy Project, which can link you to a secular therapist (in the US) who won't let religious, spiritual or supernatural beliefs interfere with the therapy process. http://recoveringfromreligion.org/
AnonymousCoward Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 That is a really nice resource. Thanks for sharing! It looks like the podcast has trailed off a little bit, but it looks like I've got a large archive to go through. Plus, for me it's kind of cool that they're local. I wonder if they're still in Seattle and still involved in the atheist community here.
DoubtingNate Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I pal around with Rich and Deana on Facebook from time to time; they are good people and I love their podcast. I hope they do some more in the near future!
