He has obviously put in a lot of time and energy into knowing the topics he debates (they are personally relevant to his life story, after all). I've learned a lot about how to present a rational argument from listening to him. Many apologists he debates get up with a smile and speak very eloquently (which makes some think their points are legitimate), but I love the way Matt presents his arguments clearly and concisely without feeling the need to "sell it" to the crowd.
