Goodbye Jesus

For The Love Of God

Ponder for a moment if you will, Gods treatment of His favourites:

St Paul (presumably murdered)

St Andrew (murdered)

Mary Magdalene (possessed by demons)

John the Baptist (murdered)

Jesus, His own Son (whipped, beaten and crucified)

Adam and Eve (Cursed)

The Jews as race (alarming mistreated and enslaved under Gods watch)

St Peter (presumably crucified, upside-down)

Now contrast these lives, with the lives of today’s followers, the Billy Graham’s, the William lane Craig’s of the world, and ask yourself, is God really impressed with the nice suit and shiny shoes approach, or does He in fact prefer His slaves to be tortured and killed for His Glory.

They were more likely to be persecuted and killed for their faith.

Yet rather worryingly, they had much more direct access to the Creator of the Universe and He (presumably) choose not to save them

I guess god wants to show his righteousness in mysterious ways. Being righteous in a wicked world means death, right?

Hi, Cianna200 smile.png

But that is not the "God" (Heavenly Father) whom Jesus taught about, right? According to Wicca, the God that Jesus taught was in fact good and loving, right?

Thanks,

Human

Hi human, and yes Jesus taught god as a close and loving deity, but Paul taught God has psychopathy.

Some wiccans are disgusted with the Christian idea of a loving being, and wiccans who know Jesus know the god he spoke of was nothing like the Pauline Christian god; Erin Dragonsong and Kardia Zoe  are just two of those Jesus believing pagans  http://www.wicca-spirituality.com/christian-wicca.html.
