A Book About: A Imaginative World With A (Obvious) God?

Is there a book, where the writer describes how a world would look like if there would be actually a God?

Let me explain. I want to get ideas, about how you can make the contrast between this world, where we dont even know if there is a God (im a agnostic atheist) with a world where its totally obvious that God(s) is (are) are involved with that virtual world.

If its not clear, please let me know.

A god, or the Christian God? Plenty of classic sci-fi stories have godlike entities, but not the Xitian god. Dune's Bene Gesserit is based on Jesuits and a god is taken for granted, but is not a conventional anthropomorphized god.

My first thought was Out of the Silent Planet and Perelandra (space trilogy by C.S. Lewis).
