Perhaps God Uncreated Himself

Hey Folks,

Given that the Concept of God would in itself be a massive Contridiction would it be too far to assert that Perhaps Yahweh uncreated himself.

Its the same as the wager,  Can God create an object that even God himself cannot move?

Perhaps Yahweh was challenged to see if he could Unmake himself out of existance or even more so perhaps limited all his power so that he can never get it back.

The concept is intresting when we raise it into the Scope of Jesus perhaps God by becoming Jesus lost all his power and never Got it back.

this is my kind of thread! given what the Bible says about Yahweh, I don't think a Christian ought to be surprised at all if he thought such a thing was a good idea.

It is a fun fantasy concept but you will not find many fundamental christians that would ever entertain this idea.

i have to look at it from a scientific perspective and it seems occams razor fits best here.

There are far fewer assumption in the statement "god does not exist" than in one that says "god exists but he marginalized his own power on purpose and now he is impotent and affects nothing"

The simple assumption that he is real is needed to even assume the other claims are and that fails at the fist level.

it is still a fun concept. A god that creates everything then envokes one more command saying I give up my power let it happen as it will fuck you all. that would be a god I would follow. Although letting the asshats called christians run amuck in his name seems a bit far fetched but mankind has done worse...or has it:)

Well as @lilwellyn said being Yahweh and so easily open to listening to a humans point of view,  Someone probably either

1) Reasoned with God to Un-Create Himself

or

2) Satan had another wager that God could not survive if he gave up his powers in a way that he could also not get them back.

Either way it allows the Christians to have their concept of God but also leaves the interpretation that he probably is nominal existence now.

Jesus says that God answers prayers, so if people pray to God to wink Himself out of existence, He should (by His own rules) comply

But just like many christians are fond of saying... "god answers all prayer, but sometimes the answer is NO".

What a load of shit. Such an easy way out for something that is suppose to be in charge of infinity...

Intresting idea - This could be further developed in saying that God knowing that he is infinate decided to undo-himself to prove to himself that he is able to do such a task lol.
