Castiel233 Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Christians have often said that a rejection of Jesus means forever in Hell. Actually on their own terms just being born means forever in Hell, let me stress this point...merely coming into existence means being thrown into a pit of suffering from which you can never escape or even die in....the good Lord above has seen fit to also make you immortal but with the ability to feel pain. The faithful claim that escaping this dreadful fate is easy, as God wants ALL to be saved....... Despite: Writing the Bible over several centuries and thus only giving out commands in stages Saying that many are called but few are chosen Speaking in parables for the explicit reason so that people would hear but not understand Promising to send His wrath over the Earth Writing a book that believers cannot even agree on Sending us strong delusions so that we will believe lies If God wanted to save us, He would just save us, period. He would not create Hell, He would not hide away. He would strain ever muscle in His back parts to ensure our salvation. If no one goes to Hell the Bible is telling lies, if nearly everyone goes to Hell the Bible is telling the truth, yet confirms that salvation is all but impossible. I submit that on the Bibles own teachings, Gods plan is to burn each and everyone of us, bar for a very select few. Jesus came with a curse on His lips and the Scheme of Damnation in His heart 3
Storm Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 You bring up good points, Castiel. I appreciate that you post these topics. They help solidify why I know that I made the right choice to leave Christianity.

The way to be saved is to pledge allegiance to an evil being and call that being good.
