It's set in a fictitious town of Burkeville, set in an ambiguous country in the Northern hemisphere. And the plot focuses on four teenagers. Kyle, a overweight and open minded (To the point of stupidity) kid who is trying to find a deeper meaning to life beyond his own understanding. Steve, a 'mature' and gloomy Goth who is in his first relationship. Michelle, a feminist and social justice warrior, who is adjusting to the transformation from girl to womanhood. Mort, a pop culture geek and the balanced member of the group, has a crush on Michelle.
