The vast majority of Jihadi groups are Sunni Fundamentalists/Salafists, and what they hate most of all - more than Christians, Atheists and even Jews - are other Muslims with differing views, especially Sufis (a broad term usually applied to Islamic mystics, ascetics and philosophers, but it can also include those adhering to more syncretic, folkish traditions) and Shias. Since Iran was the big bogeyman for decades, people used to believe Shias were somehow more radical, but that's simply not true. Hezbollah, the only militant Shia group of any significance whatsoever, are far behind the likes of IS or Al Qaida in terms of radicalism and violence. Assad has already showing wiliness to gas/chemicalise his own people. It's a difficult one because had they not done anything the Rebels would have taken over, and they are ISIS backed so problems there. Don't get me started on the US and their shitting in everyone's affairs mate. I'll get peeved off, type some anti US stuff, then the CIA will come get me! IMO the US causes worse world situation than Russia, but give Putin the military power of the US and would he better or worse? Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
