SerenelyBlue Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 I was walking my dog when satan asked me to curse God. I replied that it would be the same as me cursing at Santa Clause for not receiving presents. Then satan said I don't want to curse at God because I still believe he is real. He dared me to prove that I have no fear. I then admitted that I had an irrational fear of the consequences of cursing God. But satan had a point. He is a very sly guy. I immediately drank a pill when I came home to calm down. I don't believe in satan, it is a phsychosis in hypomania. Bipolar disorder.
SerenelyBlue Posted March 31, 2017 Author Posted March 31, 2017 Maybe I should just take a big step and curse at god.

yunea Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 That is excellent that you recognise it was your hypomania talking and medicated appropriately. Go ahead and curse at god if you feel like it. It's interesting to see how just as much bad and good luck will follow as before. It's tempting to think that the first misfortune (which inevitably comes at some point) is a consequence of it, but it's also freeing to realise that there's no evidence that it is. 1
SerenelyBlue Posted March 31, 2017 Author Posted March 31, 2017 I swore at the hypothetical god. It feels good even though I know the Christian God could not possibly exist. His bible is a mess. No god in his right mind will compose such a poor excuse for a guidebook.

SerenelyBlue Posted March 31, 2017 Author Posted March 31, 2017 I've grown a lot since my first posts. I don't fall for ebil spirits anymore. Or the holy spirit. I know it is a psychosis. 2
Wertbag Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 That reminds me of the blasphemy challenge which was all the rage a couple of years ago. For those who didn't see it the idea was to show the most unforgivable afront to god to show that He would do absolutely nothing. The people would shred a bible while standing on church steps and cursing god. Sure enough His wrath was never seen.
SerenelyBlue Posted April 4, 2017 Author Posted April 4, 2017 It is believed his wrath comes after you die. Which is rubbish. When you die you are simply no more.

Wrong, my friend; what you are always has been, for farther back than science can yet measure - and what you are will live on indefinitely - you are 'star stuff', my friend - made up of all the same elements as the other organic matter in the vastness of the universe. You are everything and everywhere, and it is localized in you. When this body dies, it simply splits back up into its component elements and gets recombined into other stuff all over the world and beyond. What was not before was the ego-trip known as "individual self", and what will die is that same false ego-creature that doesn't even really exist.

I think he was referring to one's consciousness, not the physical elements that make up the body.
