Hilariously Offensive Things You've Seen In The Name of Christianity

On Facebook, I saw one post that makes me mad thinking about it now.

 

It puts a Before/After picture for a lesbian woman. On the 'before' was a really poor quality picture of her from her 'old' lifestyle. She had short hair and a mean looking face. On the 'after' was a slightly better picture of her in a dress at church smiling with longer hair. Above the picture states: "God's glory is great!' Some Bible verse was underneath.

One hilarious thing I saw once while in Tennessee was a church called French Broad Baptist.

Yeah, there's a river there called the French Broad, so a handful of businesses use that in their name. It sounds strange to those of us not from around there, especially when it's used in the name of a church. I was also thinking that they had to be nuts to name it that.
