Raising Rational Children In An Irrational World

I am an ex-Christian who is writing a book to help other ex-Christians with many of the issues that arise when anyone leaves faith and decides to live a life of enlightenment.

I've seen a lot of comments on various forums about the problems that arise when an ex-Christian (or any non-theist) is raising their children in geographical areas where there are large numbers of religious people.

I have raised two children as a single parent in Alabama, the buckle of the Bible belt, the cloaca of the Body of Christ. My children are now rational, non-religious, happy adults. I want to share what worked for me and my children in this difficult environment.

 Congratulations on your accomplishment and kudos for helping others.  I've raised two secret atheists kids but I would have been too scared to try that in the Deep South.  What a weird world we live in.
