I knew there was something special about you

 

From the first time I saw your smile

 

Those year's ago I still remember that desire

 

Then life took me far away from you

 

But you called me out from a distant land

 

And I came running back to be with you

 

And I came back to repair all the damage in between

 

But it didn't work out how I believed it would

 

So I went looking for Jesus to help me mend my ways

 

Then I was caught by his sick theology

 

And you were always alone waiting for me to get well

 

But that fucker didn't fulfil his end of our bargain

 

Now I just hope you'll understand how I feel
