SeniorCitizen007
.... it anagrams to OSIRIS SET CHOUS (chous means "a measure of capacity equal to 12 cups") Question: Is the above anagram a mere product of chance? As an aside, Ron L Hubbard, the founder of Scientology, concocted the character XENU ETRAWL. Xenu is now one of the Scientologists "gods" ... XENU ETRAWL anagrams to WE R LUNATEX. Hubbard was something of a Joker. Getting back to Christianity ... SIMWN PETROS (St Peter), is also an anagram ... the letters can be rearranged to MORTWS PENIS (cf. Latin 'Mortuus penis', "dead penis"). Anagrams were widely "worshipped" in the Romano-Greek world ... and, in the case of Christianity, appear to be the central core of this "cult" that somebody started. In the 70s in London there was a cult the founder of which called himself Leo IV (i.e. "I love"). He initiated new followers by placing groups of them in a class-room type environment and speaking to them as if they were children ... whilst continuously playing music by Sibelius ... "sibelius ... sibelius ... sibelius ... " ... keep it up long enough and one hears "obey leo"
