Looking for Atheist/Freethinker Connections on Vancouver Island, Canada

Hi Everyone,

 

I've looked on Meetup for Atheists/Freethinkers on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada with whom to connect, but it came up with zero!

 

Vancouver has a Meetup Group, but that's quite a distance from where I live.

 

I thought I'd throw the question out here for the Canadian contingent on ExChristian.net

Too bad, I'm in the *other* Vancouver (Washington).

 

I too, went on Meetup to find a group and came up with nothing.

 

We go up to Victoria several times a year -- I'll let you know when we're up again. (Although that's not much help for regular meetings.)

Thank you, Riven, for taking the time to respond. Come on up to Campbell River when you're next on VI. It's a 3 hour drive from Victoria. It's just awesome up here

I definitely will! Next time we go up, we don't want to do the "tourist thing." Our plan is to drive around the island! I know there is so much more to see.

I hope you've found some freethinkers to connect with there. My family and I spent a week in Vancouver, BC last summer. It's a beautiful place. We didn't get a chance to go to Vancouver Island, though, but we'd like to sometime.
