SerenelyBlue
They were inspired by God and wrote it down according to how they think. God showed me he would remove the demons which surround me by showing a white crowned swordman conquering them. He gave me a vision I could understand. He gave the ancient people visions they could understand.

In the present age we know that evolution is a part of the creating process. You won't find it in the Bible... But the omniscient god, who supposedly inspired those ancient people to write down his inerrant, infallible "word" did understand how we came to be. So why isn't the bible more accurate. It's got insanely detailed instructions on how to sacrifice a goat; but nothing on speciation via natural selection? Why not, if it really is the inspired word of the creator?
Aries256
“god” and jesus are amazingly like the sheep that believe in them. Surprisingly likes the same things and hates the same things as them too!
